Meet Brandon and Keunna.
With four children and one on the way, Brandon and Keunna Swopes put in many hours of sweat equity to achieve stability and independence, the key ingredients for a good quality of life. The Swopes Family will soon move into their very own home, thanks to Habitat for Humanity of Morgan County, a UW Partner Agency.
They call it the blessing house, the quaint single-story brick-accented beige home lined with shrubs at the end of the cul-de-sac. Each nail pounded in the wall, each stroke of paint, each shingle hammered in place by one-time strangers, now friends, symbolizes a blessing to Harold and Kathleen Moore.
