United Way of Morgan County’s largest volunteer event of the year, Day of Action, is returning on Tuesday, September 8, 2026. This annual day of service brings together individuals, civic groups, and businesses to complete meaningful projects at nonprofit organizations throughout our community.

This Year’s Expected Impact

Our 2026-2027 Day of Action is set to be a HUGE success! We are calling for 180+ amazing volunteers, to complete 33 projects across Morgan County, totaling 1000+ volunteer hours, all in one day! We believe that Morgan County CAN do this & make an impact that's better together!

Examples of Projects to be Completed:

  • Pressure washing sidewalks at nonprofit facilities
  • Donating blood at LifeSouth
  • Sorting donations at Everyday Sunshine
  • Replacing ceiling tiles for PACT

Campaign Kickoff

All volunteers are invited to join us for the campaign kickoff at GE Appliances. Volunteers can expect a light breakfast and coffee before heading out to their projects. The kickoff is wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow volunteers, get energized for the day, and celebrate the launch of the 2027 United Way campaign.

Together, we continue to support successful children, empowered families, and resilient communities, showing the power of a community that stands united. 

How You Can Get Involved

If you are unable to participate on September 8th, there are still many ways to make a difference. You can volunteer for upcoming projects, sponsor an event, hold a food or hygiene drive for a local agency, or help spread the word. Every action strengthens our community and supports United Way’s Bold Goals.
