It takes more than financial donations for United Way to continue our important work. Every year, United Way relies on the talents of hundreds of volunteers to work beside our staff and help make our efforts a success.
Volunteer leadership opportunities at United Way include:
Standing Committee Members
United Way volunteer committees and sub-committees maximize our ability to help people in the community and keep costs to a minimum by overseeing and providing counsel to performing various administrative responsibilities. Currently, there are committees for resource development, marketing, community investments, agency relations, finance, information technology and others. United Way places volunteers on committees based on their area of professional expertise and interest.
United Way Day of Caring
The United Way annually hosts a day of volunteer projects at our partner agencies. Hundreds of volunteers participate in planning and conducting the event.
